Tests & Fees

To find the right test, start by choosing a service or species to find available tests. Once you choose a test, you will see information about specimen requirements, fees, turnaround time, shipping, forms, and best practices.

**Any specimens sent to the VDL for testing that do not meet the test specifications (species or specimen type) outlined in our test descriptions will have a disclaimer applied to test results.  Please contact the lab for more information.**

Note: A $10 accession fee will be applied to all submissions. A ten-percent out-of-state surcharge may be applied to submissions where animals and owners are from outside the state of Minnesota. Fees are subject to change without notice.
