Following the guidelines listed under the Submitted Specimen Requirements will provide an adequate sample volume to conduct this test. If multiple Test is being requested on a specimen, there may not be adequate sample volume to perform each test. Please submit an adequate sample volume to meet the requirements of each test. If multiple agent testing is requrested, please submit 2 tablespoons/30 ml of fecal material. This will allow an adequate sample volume to properly conduct each test.
The lab may pool specimens with up to 5 samples per pool (please indicate on the submission form). Pooling results in slightly decreased test sensitivity. Do not pre-pool samples
