Important Update: Turkey Bordetella ELISA Testing

Our vendor, Zoetis, has notified us of a supply chain issue affecting the manufacturing of the Turkey
Bordetella ELISA kit for the foreseeable future. As a result, the availability of this test will be impacted.
At MPTL, we currently have a limited inventory of testing kits. To maximize the availability of testing
for as many clients as possible, we are carefully managing our remaining supply by minimizing the use
of partially filled assay plates. While this approach will help extend our inventory, it may also result in
longer-than-normal turnaround times for Turkey Bordetella ELISA testing.

In parallel, we are actively evaluating alternative testing solutions to continue supporting your diagnostic
needs. Any new assay or testing platform will require thorough in-house verification and validation
before implementation to ensure it meets our quality standards and performs as expected. Although we
are committed to identifying a suitable replacement as quickly as possible, this process will take time.

Once our current inventory is exhausted, we will unfortunately be unable to offer the Turkey Bordetella
ELISA test until a validated alternative becomes available. This will also affect our Turkey Panel 1 and
Turkey Panel 2, as the Turkey Bordetella ELISA is a component of both panels.

keep you informed of any updates and will notify you as soon as an alternative testing option becomes
available.
